Bosco Verticale is an ambitious eco project in Milano which suppose to be a vertical forest along with apartments.
The tower, designed by Stefano Boeri, will solve two of the most important urban problems: green spaces and surface. Each apartment have some trees planted on their balcony which are meant to regenerate some energy, to absorb CO2, humidity and so one.
If the apartments would have been constructed individually, the entire project would require 50,000 square meters of land, and 10,000 square meters of woodland. So, with this ingenious concept, the surface is very small.
The threes will be irrigated using domestic water.
