The Emirates Park Towers Hotel & Spa is a twin-tower complex which is currently under construction in one of the most important cities and emirates in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai.
The construction process of the structure began back in 2006 and, after a short period in which the construction was put on hold, it is estimated to be finalized by the end of 2011, at the total cost of 490 million dollars. The building is managed by worldwide operator Marriott International and has been designed by the architectural firm Archgroup International. After its completion, the twin-tower complex will become the fourth tallest building in Dubai, ahead of Almas Tower, with a height of 376 metres and will become a 1,612 residential room hotel, thus making it the world’s tallest hotel, ahead of the Rose Rayhaan by Rotana, which is also located in Dubai. The original plans intended for the structure to be completed by 2008, but the design and location had to be changed, with the shape of the towers also being modified and the height decreased. The most important technical details include a floor count of 77 and a total floor area of approximately 348,000 square metres.
The Emirates Park Towers Hotel & Spa, built in a postmodern architectural style, is set to become a new Dubai landmark, by establishing a new standard of hospitality for residences and commercial enterprises. It will include numerous modern facilities, such as thesky terraces, 18 food and beverage outlets, conference halls and meeting rooms, rooftop bars, a business center, an extensive banquet hall, playing areas, arcades and landscaped plazas, a 3,700 square meter spa and health club, as well as retail outlets, a swimming pool, and a gymnasium. Surrounded by parks and waterways, the building will offer panoramic views from more than 900 guest rooms and 300 serviced apartments.
