The Keangnam Hanoi Landmark Tower is a supertall skyscraper, which is currently under construction in Pham Hung Boulevard, Cau Giay district, Hanoi, Vietnam, just 22.5km away from the Noi Bai International Airport and which is designed most importantly for office space and commercial use. Some of the most important companies that will have their headquarters in this building are the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development and the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group.
The structure, for which the total construction cost will add up to nearly 1.05 billion dollars, will be finalized by the end of 2011 and will have a height of 345 meters, with the roof at 336 meters and the top floor at 336 meters, making it the highest in Vietnam (ahead of Bitexco Financial Tower) and the world’s 26th highest building. The design and construction process of the structure are being done by the renowned architecture company Heerim, Samoo, Aum & Lee, Hellmuth Obata + Kassabaum. The Tower, which will be the major part of a complex of residences and office towers, will have 70 floors (and 4 underground), with a total floor area of approximately 579,000 m2, as a result making it the fifth tower of the world about total area of a single project. The initial plans include the building of a modern five-star hotel, numerous offices, special entertainment areas, retail spaces, clinics, a gym with modern equipment, convention centers and a large shopping center.
After its completion, the Kangnam Hanoi Landmark Tower will be a symbol of a highest tower in Vietnam and a location that will offer its residences a modern, comfortable environment, with access to all its facilities. Accompanied by two residential towers and a retail complex, Kangnam will dominate the entire My Dinh skyline of Hanoi.
